The company was founded in 2006 by Sandra DeSilva, Nova’s CEO and Chief Software Architect, who had identified an opportunity in the delivery of specialist software development services to the Bermuda and global (re)insurance markets.
Nova has participated in the systems architecture of billion-dollar reinsurance startups and has driven the innovation and execution of large enterprise software systems, including assisting global Silicon-valley start-ups in taking ideas from concept to market execution. Nova has a track record of successful long-term partnerships and software development experience with its clients.
